Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Camden, North - West London Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (1 Year) Pay: £515–£550 per week About the School & Role A welcoming primary school in Camden is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September. Staff work collaboratively to deliver an engaging curriculum, promote positive relationships and support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. Main Duties Deliver high-quality learning activities to individuals, small groups and whole classes, including covering lessons in the teacher's absence. Support teachers with lesson preparation, assessment and classroom organisation to ensure pupils make strong progress. Deliver targeted interventions in English and mathematics to raise attainment and support pupils with additional learning needs. Promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel supported. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and EAL.
