Youll be joining our Highways maintenance team , as the UKs number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes. You'll work as part of a team undertaking highways repairs, ranging from potholes, patching, drainage, footways and general highway maintenance. You'll use technology (tablets/apps) to input safety data and maintenance records. Where appropriate provide direction/supervision of the work to less experienced operatives. Part of the role is to undertake Winter Maintenance and Emergency out of hours activities on a standby rota. What youll bring Do you have a clean driving License A commitment to Health and Safety Good communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy LGV Class C driving licence OR demonstrate capability to support investment of LGV Class C training during probationary period Do you have a CSCS Card? Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers.
