Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team at Willen Hospice.
As a key member of ourHousekeepingteam,youllplay a vital role inmaintaininga clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all Hospice areas, including our Wellbeing Centre and clinical spaces.
WhatYoullDo:
General cleaning such as vacuuming, mopping, and dusting
Cleaning of patient and family rooms, communal areas, offices, and bathrooms
Replenishing supplies andmaintainingcleaning equipment
Conducting deep cleans and infection control procedures
Recording fridge temperatures andmaintaininglinen stocks
WhatYoullNeed:
PreviousCleaningexperience ideally in a Clinical setting
NVQ Level2 Infection Control or willing to work towards
Reliable, flexible, and hard-working
A team player withgood communicationand interpersonal skills
Can work flexibly acrossday, weekends, and rotational schedules
Organised with attention todetail
Additionalinformation
The Housekeeping provision isoperatedover 7 days and worked on a4weekrota. All Housekeeping staffare required towork a25 hourweek split over five, five hour days and workoneweekend out offour. Shift times are as follows; 6.00am -11.00am / 09.30am 2.30pm / 1.30pm 6.30pm please note;we are unable to offer set shift times.

Weoffer 24 hour / seven days a week palliative care to people who have advanced disease,caring for people in our Inpatient Unit which accommodates 15 patientsand the local community. Ourperson centredcare is delivered with compassion and respect for peoples wishes.We have an expanding Therapeutic & Wellbeing service offering Psychological Wellbeing, Social Care, Physiotherapy, Occupational and Complementary Therapy.Our dedicated Income Generationteams and retail portfolio of shops raise vital funds to deliver this care.
