Housing Coordinator (Permanent)

Salary £27,500 per annum and great benefits including Health Cash Plan As our Housing and Property Lead, youll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, youll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation! Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, youll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies. Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account. Getting rooms ready for the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy, youll turn around vacant or void rooms / bed spaces / properties within set timescales. You get great training, support from friendly colleagues and a chance to make a real difference every day. Experience in managing a housing caseload and handle landlord and housing management duties Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed. Working on a rota across 7 days of the week, weekends will be shared equally across the team. Based at our services across the Middlesbrough area, youll be supporting customers who have complex mental health needs and secondary diagnosis of either a learning disability, autism spectrum or neurological condition. Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups, Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
