Housing Officer

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading housing provider for an experienced Housing Officer to join their team in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused housing professional who is confident managing tenancies, neighbourhood issues and complex customer situations, while delivering a high-quality housing management service. As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties and providing a proactive, customer-focused tenancy and neighbourhood management service. You will act as a key point of contact for residents, helping to sustain tenancies, address concerns and ensure neighbourhoods remain safe, well-managed and welcoming. Your responsibilities as a Housing Officer will include: Managing a portfolio of social housing tenancies and estates. Conducting tenancy visits and regular estate inspections. Supporting new tenancy sign-ups, tenancy changes, successions, assignments, transfers and terminations. Proactively managing rent and service charge arrears, working with customers to resolve issues and prevent escalation. Managing anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases and working with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
