Housing Support Officer Contract Length: 3 months Rate: £19–£22 per hour Umbrella We are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Officer to provide intensive, person-centred support to tenants with complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional who is passionate about helping people maintain their accommodation, build independence, and improve their overall wellbeing. Key Responsibilities * Provide intensive housing-related support to tenants with complex and multiple needs, including those experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance misuse, or other vulnerabilities. * Work closely with tenants to maintain and sustain their tenancies, helping to prevent tenancy breakdown and repeat homelessness. * Complete comprehensive risk assessments and support plans, ensuring these reflect individual needs, risks, goals, and outcomes. * Build trusting and professional relationships with tenants, using a trauma-informed and person-centred approach. * Support tenants to develop essential independent living skills, including budgeting, managing bills, accessing benefits, maintaining their accommodation, and engaging with services. * Liaise effectively with local authorities, social services, healthcare professionals, charities, probation, mental health services, and other external agencies to ensure tenants receive appropriate support. * Ma...
