Job Title: Human Resources AdministratorSalary: Up to £27,500 per annumLocation: Bangor, North WalesWorking Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working available with a mix of office, home working and occasional travel to other company sites as required.


My client is seeking a proactive and organised Human Resources Administrator to support both the HR and Training functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administrative experience and a passion for people processes to join a growing business and contribute to employee development, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations.


Key Duties



  • Provide administrative support across all HR activities, ensuring records and systems remain accurate and up to date.

  • Assist with recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, liaising with candidates, and issuing employment offers.

  • Support employee onboarding and leaver processes, including preparation of documentation and induction arrangements.

  • Maintain employee files and HR databases in line with company procedures and data protection requirements.

  • Assist with employee benefits administration and general HR correspondence.

  • Support employee relations activities through document preparation and meeting coordination.

  • Arrange occupational health referrals and appointments when required.

  • Monitor employee absence, annual leave, probation reviews, appraisals, and mandatory training deadlines.

  • Organise internal and external training courses, including scheduling, venue bookings, attendance management, and provider liaison.

  • Maintain training records and assist with the development and updating of training materials.

  • Gather and report on HR and training metrics to support business reporting requirements.

  • Provide first-line HR guidance to employees and managers, escalating more complex matters where appropriate.

  • Contribute to departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.


Requirements



  • Full UK driving licence essential, with the ability to travel between sites when required.

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

  • Ideally working towards or holding a Level 3 CIPD qualification in People Practice.

  • Previous administration experience, ideally at least three years.

  • Previous experience within an HR or Learning & Development environment would be advantageous.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.

  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Experience using HR systems would be beneficial.

  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
