Morson Edge is pleased to be supporting our client in looking for an organised and proactive HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR support across a busy and fast-paced organisation.

Working as part of the HR team, you will provide first-line HR advice, coordinate key people processes, and support a wide range of operational HR activities.

Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on policies, procedures and employment-related matters.

Manage the HR inbox, ensuring enquiries are handled promptly and accurately.

Maintain HR records, documentation and workflow trackers to ensure data is up to date.

Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including vacancy approvals, recruitment administration and liaison with external recruitment partners.

Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring employees have the information and support they need.

Assist with the management of employee relations matters, providing advice and administrative support where appropriate.

Support absence management processes, working alongside occupational health providers and managers.

Coordinate workplace testing processes where required, ensuring policies and procedures are followed appropriately.

Liaise with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to ensure monthly payroll changes are processed accurately and resolve payroll-related queries.

Maintain and update the HR information system, supporting data accuracy, reporting and system updates.

Coordinate employee recognition initiatives, including long service awards.

Provide general HR administration and support across the employee lifecycle.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role.

Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Experience using HR systems (Workday experience would be an advantage).

Confident Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

A CIPD qualification (or working towards one) is desirable.
