The HR Associate will provide advice and guidance across a range of HR activities, including recruitment and selection, learning and development, employee relations, HR project management and change management. The successful candidate will also support SIB’s partners with a wide range of organisational projects on an ‘as-and-when’ required basis. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Recruitment and selection from job inception to induction, including:
a) Design, develop and deliver high quality and contemporary recruitment and selection processes.
b) Work with panels to develop job documentation to include job descriptions, person specifications, advertisements, candidate briefing packs and application forms, selection and assessment materials, interview questions and bespoke job-related exercises.
c) Participate in selection panels as a voting member and provide advice and support to selection panel members on all relevant recruitment matters.
d) Liaise with candidates, including the collation and provision of feedback.
e) Sense and respond to a rapidly changing environment, to ensure that all employees are sufficiently ‘on boarded’ and supported throughout the employment life cycle
• Contribute to, and support organisational wide projects, from a HR/change management perspective.
• Assist with the review, development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with NI and/or UK legislation as appropriate;
• Provide advice and support to managers and staff on HR policy and procedures, employment law and best practice, performance management and terms and conditions of employment;
• Conduct or support investigations and complaints, prepare reports and recommend appropriate actions;
• Contribute to the production of HR reports, including statistical analysis of data from a range of sources;
• In accordance with Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act (1988), promote Equality of Opportunity, Good Relations and pay due regard to Equality Legislation at all times;
• Undertake assignments for the SSU on request and in line with individual experience and skills set;
