About you

  • Minimum of two years' generalist HR experience with a relevant qualification, or four years' HR experience without qualification
  • Associate member of CIPD (Chartered CIPD membership is desirable)
  • Experience managing HR functions within a busy, stakeholder-oriented environment
  • Solid knowledge of employment law in Northern Ireland and HR best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of advising and influencing at various levels
  • Proficient in HR management systems such as i-Trent or similar platforms
  • A valid transport method to meet the role's travel requirements

What you'll do

  • Act as a trusted partner to leaders and staff, providing expert HR & OD advice that aligns with organisational values and strategic aims
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, staff development, and performance management processes to attract, develop, and retain talent
  • Lead initiatives on organisational development, culture change, and employee engagement to foster a positive and inclusive working environment
  • Manage HR policies, ensure compliance, and optimise HR systems and reporting for efficiency and accuracy
  • Support staff relations, dispute resolution, and industrial relations efforts, working closely with unions and employee representatives
  • Contribute to strategic projects that promote trust, collaboration, innovation, and respect within the organisation
