Human Resources Generalist

Salary: up to £40,000 per annum (depending on skills and abilities)

Location: Wrexham

Additional benefits:

The role:

We're looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join a growing and innovative organisation where people, performance, and continuous improvement are genuinely valued. From recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, learning and development, and HR compliance, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a first-class people service while helping shape a positive and engaging workplace culture.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Providing first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees
  • Assisting with employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance matters
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and producing key documentation
  • Supporting learning and development initiatives across the business
  • Assisting managers with performance and attendance management processes
  • Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with employment legislation and best practice
  • Promoting employee wellbeing, inclusion, and engagement initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualified (or currently working towards)
  • Previous experience within a Human Resources or People Services role
  • Sound understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Employee relations experience and confidence handling sensitive matters
  • Experience using HR systems and payroll software
  • Strong organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, professional, and solutions-focused approach
