We are working with a growing, multi-site organisation to recruit an experienced HR Partner to join its People and Culture team.

This is a broad generalist role combining complex employee relations, manager coaching and operational HR delivery with wider responsibility across workforce planning, talent, engagement and organisational change.

Working closely with managers and senior leaders, you will act as a trusted partner to designated business areas, developing a strong understanding of their priorities and providing practical, commercially focused people solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the principal HR contact for designated business areas
  • Building trusted relationships with managers and senior stakeholders
  • Independently managing complex disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, capability and investigation cases
  • Coaching managers to strengthen their confidence and people-management capability
  • Providing pragmatic advice that balances employee experience, business needs and organisational risk
  • Supporting restructures, consultation processes, business integrations and wider change programmes
  • Contributing to workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning and employee development
  • Supporting recruitment, selection, offer management and onboarding activity
  • Using people data and insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities
  • Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and retention initiatives
  • Contributing to HR projects, policy development, process improvement and annual people cycles

About you

You will be an experienced HR professional with a strong generalist background and demonstrable experience operating as a trusted partner to managers and business leaders.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong and current knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Extensive experience independently managing complex employee relations cases
  • Experience advising, coaching and constructively challenging managers
  • Exposure to organisational change, restructures and consultation processes
  • Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to provide commercially balanced and pragmatic HR advice
  • Experience interpreting people data and translating insight into practical action
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • CIPD Level 5, currently working towards the qualification, or equivalent demonstrable experience

Experience within engineering, manufacturing, technology, software, consultancy or professional services would be advantageous, as would exposure to a multi-site, matrix, international or high-growth organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an evolving business where you will have the autonomy to manage complex people matters while contributing to broader workforce, talent and organisational priorities. xwzovoh
