An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Policy Consultant to support a public sector organisation with the review, development and modernisation of its HR policies and procedures.
Working as part of a collaborative HR team, you will play a key role in ensuring HR policies are up to date, legally compliant and aligned with the organisation's wider digital transformation agenda. You will also help improve the manager experience across key people processes by producing clear, practical and accessible guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, refresh and update HR policies and procedures to ensure they are current, compliant and fit for purpose.
- Work collaboratively with the HR team to develop and enhance HR documentation, guidance and supporting materials.
- Ensure HR policies are compatible with the organisation's digital HR environment, including Microsoft Copilot-enabled ways of working.
- Improve the manager experience across key HR processes, including performance management, absence management, appraisals and objective setting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across HR services and contribute to policy best practice.
