HSE & Training Coordinator

THERE IS NO SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE Health & Safety * Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, company policies and industry standards. * Maintain and regularly review health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments. * Coordinate workplace inspections and audits. * Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. * Create, monitor, and report on health and safety performance metrics. * Maintain accident books, safety records and compliance documentation. * Coordinate fire safety procedures, emergency drills and evacuation plans. * Ensure appropriate PPE is available, issued and used correctly. * Promote a positive safety culture through communication, coaching and awareness campaigns. * Liaise with external regulatory bodies and auditors when required. Training & Development * Be the lead trainer on all machinery for new starters * Coordinate all mandatory and role-specific training programmes. * Maintain an accurate training matrix and employee training records. * Identify training needs through consultation with managers. * Arrange internal and external training courses. * Deliver or facilitate induction and compliance training where appropriate. * Monitor training effectiveness through assessments and feedback. * Ensure refresher training is completed within required timescales. * Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions and training materials. * Follow any reasonable request made by Management
