SHEQ ManagerFull Time, PermanentKing's LynnUp to £55,000 P.A + Company Bonus & Excellent BenefitsIn a nutshellThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional who enjoys a hands-on and varied role, with approximately 50% of your time spent supporting construction and civil engineering sites, alongside 50% based at the company's manufacturing facility in King's Lynn, where you will oversee the site's HSEQ requirements.You will work closely with senior management and operational teams to ensure the business remains compliant, continually improves its systems and maintains a strong 'Work Safe, Home Safe' culture.What's involved for the SHEQ ManagerOversee HSEQ requirements across the company's manufacturing facility in King's LynnDevelop, implement and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures and systemsEnsure compliance with current Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality legislationConduct regular site inspections and audits across construction, civil and manufacturing environmentsManage the company's legal and compliance registersMaintain and continually improve the Integrated Management SystemLead accident, incident and near-miss investigationsReport audit and inspection findings to senior management and recommend corrective actionsProvide SHEQ advice and support to installation, estimating, production and project teamsOversee employee and subcontractor training, inductions and competency requirementsManage company accreditations including SSIPs and ConstructionlineManage subcontractor compliance, vetting and approval processesMaintain project security clearance and DBS registersWhat you'll needNEBOSH National Diploma or equivalentCSCS cardExperience within a Health & Safety / SHEQ positionExperience within Construction, Civil Engineering, M&E, Manufacturing or EngineeringStrong knowledge of current Health & Safety legislationProven experience working across construction sites and/or manufacturing environmentsExperience managing Health & Safety across multiple sites or projectsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong report writing and policy development skillsGood IT skills including Microsoft Office and EHS management systemsFull UK Driving LicenceWillingness to travel to siteThe following would be IDEAL BUT NOT ESSENTIALExperience auditing against ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001Environmental or Sustainability Management experienceRelevant Environmental or Sustainability qualificationsIOSH Membership
