Role Summary The HR Administrator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of HR services, ensuring efficient administration across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with the HR team and contributing to the smooth operation of HR processes,maintainaccurateemployee records, respond to employee and manager queries, and support payroll administration.

This roleis responsible forproviding administrative support across a range of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, contract management, benefits administration, and offboarding. The HR Administrator will ensure HR data ismaintainedaccurately and confidentially, coordinate interviews and pre-employment checks, andassistwith the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and processes. The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering a positive employee experience and supporting a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assistin drafting,reviewing, and processingemployee contracts, and ensuring theyare in compliance withemployment laws and company policies.
  • Manageall ofthe incoming queries to internal HR mailbox.
  • Maintain HR-related files such as job descriptions, performance evaluations,and employee records—while ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Background checks: You willbe responsible forconducting pre-employment background checks, verifying employment and education history, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Maintaining HR-related databases: You willbe responsible formaintainingHR-related databases, ensuring they are up to date andaccurate.
  • Conducting exit interviews: You willbe responsible forconducting exit interviews with employees who are leaving the company, gathering feedback, andidentifyingareas for improvement.
  • You will be working closely with the HRGeneralist,HRManagerand Team managerstoassistthem in various tasks, such as coordinating onboarding, handling employee relations issues, and managing HR-related projects.
  • Assistin processing payrolland handling payrollenquiries.
  • Overseeingthe full recruitment cycle: scheduling interviews, posting job advertisements, and coordinating the recruitment process.
  • Support employee relations initiatives and help coordinate training programs.
  • Youwillbe responsible forliaising withemployeesregardingHR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  • Assistin arranging travel bookings for employees andensuring travel arrangements adhere to company policies and budgets.
  • Any other taskassignedby theHRManager.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Education: HND in Business or HR related course
  • Preferred Education: BA Business/Human Resources or CIPD Level 3/5
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 1+ years as a HRAssistant or Administration role
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and Employee Relations is highly desirable

KeySkills & Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Experience using HRIS systems
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS
  • Experience in booking corporate travel
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of British Sign Language (advantageous)
  • Experienceor awarenessof the Deaf Community (advantageous)
