About the Successful Applicant

You will have previous experience in a comparable HR generalist position, alongside sound knowledge of UK employment law. You will be fluent in English, confident using HR systems and people data, and able to provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice while working autonomously and building strong relationships. A background in tech/software is an advantage


About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for a HR Generalist to provide generalist people support. Working closely with managers and employees, you will provide practical HR guidance throughout the employee lifecycle, with particular emphasis on employee relations, employment legislation, HR processes and people information.

Duties will include:

  • Advising managers and employees on day-to-day HR queries
  • Supporting on a broad range of employee relations matters, including conduct, grievances, attendance and performance concerns
  • Coaching managers through probation reviews, performance improvement processes and other people management situations
  • Coordinating key stages of the employee lifecycle, from joining the organisation through to contractual changes, family leave and departures
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, including appropriate pre-employment and right-to-work checks
  • Keeping HR systems, employee records and associated documentation accurate and up to date
  • Advising on HR policies and supporting improvements to existing people processes
  • Ensuring confidential employee information is handled appropriately and in line with GDPR requirements
  • Contributing to wider HR, learning and people-related projects and initiatives
