Humanities Teacher - Supply (Full-Time / Part-Time) Location: Bradford Pay: Daily rate to scale Contract Type: Long-term supply (with potential ongoing opportunities) About the Role Academics are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teachers to work on a full-time or part-time supply basis in secondary schools across Bradford. This role involves delivering high-quality Humanities lessons (such as History, Geography, and/or Religious Education) through long-term placements, supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable) Monitor, assess, and report on student progress Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment Inspire students' interest in Humanities subjects Work collaboratively with departmental and school staff Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience teaching Humanities in secondary schools Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What We Offer Daily pay rate to scale Flexible working - full-time or part-time options Long-term, consistent placements Support from dedicated and experienced consultants Opportunities in a range of local secondary schools Why Work with Academics?
