We're recruiting for a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) to join a well-established business delivering maintenance services across a major UK supermarket contract. Up to £47,000 basic salary Paid overtime Paid travel time Company van and fuel card 33 days annual leave Private pension Private healthcare Life insurance Employee discount scheme Ongoing training and career development Long-term, secure contract The Role Covering retail sites across the Telford area, you'll carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of commercial heating and HVAC equipment. Typical duties include: * Servicing and repairing commercial gas systems * Maintaining boilers, pumps, fans, AHUs and FCUs * Fault finding and reactive breakdown repairs * Carrying out planned maintenance and inspections * Minor mechanical installations and alterations * Identifying non-repairable faults and recommending replacements * Ordering replacement parts where required * Providing excellent customer service across multiple sites What You'll Need Essential * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heating, Mechanical or HVAC * Current Commercial Gas ACS qualifications including: * COCN * CIGA * CORT * ICPN * CDGA * TPCP1/1A * Full UK Driving Licence * Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or retail environments Desirable * Domestic ACS qualifications * F-Gas Category 1 * 18th Edition * Experience using handheld/PDA systems You'll also be happy to participate in a 1 in 4 on-call rota.
