HVAC supervisor
for our client based in the Stafford area Details of a
HVAC Supervisor
- Field Based/Hybrid
- Full Time
- £38,000 plus fixed OT rates Role of a
HVAC Supervisor
- To lead and support a team of HVAC/Hygiene technicians to deliver planned and reactive works safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure engineers have the correct equipment and PPE and materials available for scheduled works
- Spend regular time on site ensuring work activities are aligned with survey requirements and customer expectations
- Ensuring every visit is signed off by the customer
- Assist the scheduling manager in advance to maximise productivity and minimise delays
- Introduce and maintain effective communication processes including a "call in" escalation procedure for operational issues and barriers to completion
- Aim to remove return visits to site and improve completion rates first time
- Escalate unresolved issues promptly
- Ensure vehicle checks are completed
- Lead, motivate, coach and develop individuals
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships Requirements of a
HVAC Supervisor
- Previous experience in a team leader/ supervisor or senior engineer position within HVAC, hygiene, ventilation cleaning or related building services sector
- Solid understanding of field service operations
- Ability to plan workload tools and equipment and manage competing priorities
- Comfortable with microsoft office and use of mobile service/app systems
- Full UK Driving licence
- It is desirable that you have HVAC, ventilation, hygiene or building services qualifications
- Health and safety qualifications e.g IOSH
- Experience managing RAMS and operational compliance processes
- Knowledge and or qualification in TR19A, BESA guidance and associated hygiene standards
