HVDC Engineering Lead – Assistant Manager (Scotland)

SSEN Transmission is seeking an Assistant Engineering Manager – HVDC to help deliver Europe’s large HVDC converter station projects. Based in Scotland, you will spend significant time in office locations such as Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness and contribute to major energy infrastructure.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage risk, and drive engineering delivery from concept through commissioning, while promoting a Safety by Design approach and long‑term operational excellence.
