My client, a successful food manufacturer based in the East Midlands area are seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager/ Supervisor, due to the continued expansion within the business.
You will lead Hygiene teams and ensure that the hygiene function operates smoothly on site.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
- Training of the hygiene staff
- Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement
- Responsible for Audit schedule
- Dealing with chemical and product suppliers
- A keen interest in the ordering of new equipment, to establish how the hygiene team would be able to operate
- Co-ordinate machinery strip down and deep cleaning
- Budgetary responsibility
Skills and Experience
- Level 3 Food Safety and Health & Safety
- High Risk/ High Care experience
- Working with Major Retailers
- Hygiene Leadership with a proven successful track record
- Experience conducting internal and third party audits
- Managing a team and setting and reporting KPI's
- Food manufacturing experience is essential xwzovoh
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery
- Strong communication and organisation skills
