This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CMM Programmer to join a technically driven environment that combines cutting-edge design, meticulous testing, and end-to-end production expertise. 50,000 37.5 hours per week: 8:00am 5:00pm Mon to Weds, 4:30pm finish on Thursday and a 12:00pm finish on Fridays 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Healthcare / Medical Cover 4x salary Life Insurance (following 12-months of employment) This role is commutable from: Burntwood, Lichfield, Aldridge, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham Role Overview An experienced CMM Programmer is required to join the companys Inspection Laboratory, supporting a growing engineering organisation with ambitious long-term plans. Youll play a key role in ensuring that components, sub-assemblies and completed products meet defined quality standards before progressing through production and into the hands of customers. This is a great opportunity for someone with inspection or quality experience whos looking to develop their career in a technically interesting environment, with access to ongoing training and progression. CMM Programmer Essential Experience, Skills & Attributes Proven experience as a CMM Programmer (Mitutoyo, MCOSMOS experience is desired, but any other proven CMM Programming experience will be considered) Previous experience in an inspection or quality-related role (essential) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI) processes Strong attention to detail with a methodical, well-organised approach to work CMM Programmer Key Responsibilities but not limited to Inspecting incoming components and sub-assemblies within the goods inwards function Carrying out physical audits of fully assembled kit prior to customer shipment Inspecting individual parts and assemblies in line with engineering drawings Performing First Article Inspections (FAI) to meet quality and compliance requirements Accurately completing inspection records and associated documentation Carrying out all inspection activities on-site within the companys facilities Please Note: Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
