Identity & Access Management Engineer (IAM Engineer)
Up to £70k + 10% Annual Bonus

Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)
Edison Smart has partnered with a global leader in animal health to hire an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer, who will be technically responsible for all Identity services globally within a complex, global identity environment.
In this role, you'll bring deep technical expertise to a global identity function - engaging with delivery partners, architects and security teams to design and deliver technically sound, business-driven IAM solutions across Privileged Access Management, Active Directory and modern authentication protocols. This is a hands-on technical role and does not include people management.
The Role Own AD/AAD identity and access delivery, interfacing with delivery partners to ensure fit-for-purpose delivery within the IAM space Ensure documentation, change requests and related processes are accurate and compliant with SOX Coordinate and facilitate QA/audit escalation issues with delivery partners, the Chief IAM Architect and QA/GRC Act as SME across various forums, ensuring projects and programmes are technically sound and deliver the expected outcomes Build strong partnerships across the technical community, Information Security and application owners to identify opportunities and mitigate risk Lead deep dives into key initiatives to resolve major incidents, complex problems and realise opportunities Help embed security, privacy, data protection and quality assurance across IT Partner with operational teams and Chief Architects to understand current and future IAM requirements Work with L1L3 IAM/Identity support teams, including credential management, system review and access control actions in Azure PIM Track emerging technology directions across the Identity space Engage with the wider Identity community, internally and externally, to share, educate and inspire
The Ideal Candidate Must Have: 2+ years' experience across Identity, including Privileged Access Management, Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access and Entra ID governance Experience leading technology projects within complex, global environments Experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions Experience working with public cloud architecture (Azure, GCP, etc.) Track record executing large-scale, transformative strategic plans Exceptional facilitation and organisational skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas across all levels of IT and to third parties
