Studios Leavesden as an Electrician and play a key role in keeping our world-class facilities running to the highest standards. Working alongside our Facilities team, you'll be hands-on with the maintenance and installation of electrical systems across the studio, helping to support the productions that bring blockbuster films and TV shows to life. from electrical projects and fault-finding to broader site maintenance tasks, you'll enjoy a varied role with opportunities to expand your skills across the wider facilities function. Primarily based at our Leavesden studio, you'll also have the chance to support projects at other locations when required. Monitor H&S compliance, such as correct PPE being worn, as per the H&S at Work Act and WBSL H&S Policy. Ensure that the site's electrical and mechanical equipment are looked after in such a way as to maintain continuous operation and legal compliance. Operating and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems via the BMS Carry out small installation works and modifications to existing systems. Undertaking general maintenance tasks and survey inspections including areas at height. Ensure all maintenance activities and procedures adhere to applicable health and safety legislation, policies, and best practise guidelines. BS7671 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations Accreditation. JIB/ECS card. 2391 inspecting and testing would be advantageous. Must hold a full UK driving licence This role is based on a 40-hour working week, with flexibility required to support the operational needs of both the Studio and Studio Tour. As such, you will be expected to work a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and some Bank Holidays. Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work.
