Independent Living Maintenance Officer
Location: Oxfordshire (travel around sites)
Salary:
up to £28,000 including £2,000 car allowance Contract:
Full-time / Permanent Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle required
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Independent Living Maintenance Officer to join our team. In this varied and hands-on role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across our Independent Living schemes, ensuring our buildings remain safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents. Key Responsibilities Carry out minor repairs and maintenance across communal areas and individual properties Plan and schedule maintenance tasks efficiently Conduct monthly estate inspections to identify issues Ensure health & safety standards are maintained Oversee contractor work on-site Monitor and track repairs and escalate when needed Communicate effectively with residents and stakeholders Gather feedback and support continuous improvement What We're Looking For Experience in maintenance or repair work Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently Excellent customer service approach Comfortable with IT systems Our values At bpha, our values are at the heart of everything we do: We take responsibility:
