The Role

Industrial Disease Solicitor - Birmingham - Up to £60,000 - REF 901402AF

A growing national law firm is seeking an Industrial Disease Solicitor to join its expanding department in Birmingham. This Industrial Disease Solicitor opportunity in Birmingham comes as the team continues to see significant growth and specialises in complex claims including HAVS, Short Tail and Noise-Induced Hearing Loss.

The Role:

• Handle Industrial Disease matters including HAVS, Short Tail and NIHL claims
• Manage files from instruction through to settlement or litigation
• Investigate liability and quantum in detail
• Review medical and employment records
• Draft pleadings, witness statements and legal documentation
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide clear advice
• Progress litigated matters in line with case strategy and deadlines
• This is a strong opportunity to develop technical expertise within a fast-growing specialist team

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor with Personal Injury experience
• Exposure to Industrial Disease work desirable (not essential)
• Strong understanding of the litigation process
• Confident drafting legal documents and reviewing evidence
• Able to manage a varied caseload effectively
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Good communication and client care ability
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Strong academic background
