Remote - occasional requirement to work on site in London (circa once every 6-8 weeks)
We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join a major technology transformation programme within a large global organisation.
You'll be responsible for delivering a range of infrastructure, platform and technology lifecycle projects, which could include server and operating system upgrades, security remediation, cloud migration, infrastructure refresh and end-of-life replacement.
You'll manage projects end-to-end across planning, design, build, migration, testing, cutover and operational transition, working closely with internal technical teams, senior stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
Key responsibilities
Lead multiple infrastructure and technology projects from initiation through to closure
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, RAID, milestones and dependencies
Manage technical teams, suppliers and third-party partners
Drive infrastructure upgrades, migrations, remediation and lifecycle projects
Manage testing, cutover and operational handover
Provide clear project reporting, risks, issues and delivery confidence to senior stakeholders
Ensure strong governance, change control and project documentationExperience required
Strong experience as an Infrastructure or Technical Project Manager within complex enterprise environments
Proven delivery of infrastructure lifecycle, platform upgrade, migration, server refresh or security remediation projects
Experience working across Windows, Linux/RHEL, servers, application platforms and/or cloud environments
Strong project governance, RAID, dependency and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing technical SMEs and third-party suppliers
Comfortable managing projects independently in a fast-moving environment
PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent qualification/experienceExperience within manufacturing, logistics, retail, warehousing, distribution or OT environments would be advantageous.
This is a hands-on delivery role for a Project Manager who can bring structure, pace and control to complex infrastructure projects and confidently manage delivery from planning through to operational transition.
