HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative Location: Eastbourne Salary: approximately £120 per day Shift: Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 2:30pm/4:30pm, with occasional night and weekend work Job Role of the HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative: An opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative to support a six-month installation project across Eastbourne and Lewes. The HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative will collect street furniture and associated equipment from a local storage yard before delivering and unloading it at roadside sites. Responsibilities will include operating the lorry-mounted crane, securing loads, following lifting plans and supporting the installation team on site. Sector: Highways / Street Furniture Installation Non-Negotiable Requirements of the HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative: - HGV Class 2 licence - Lorry-mounted crane/HIAB qualification and operating experience Requirements of the HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative: - Knowledge of lifting plans and safe load handling - Experience loading, securing and transporting materials or equipment - Understanding of vehicle checks and safe HGV operation - Comfortable completing practical, hands-on work at roadside sites Desirable Requirements of the HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative: - NRSWA/highways qualification - Previous highways, street furniture or installation experience The HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative will benefit from: - Six-month contract - Monday-to-Friday working pattern - Local work across Eastbourne and Lewes - Equipment provided for the role If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
