She enjoys spending time with people who are caring, upbeat and willing to engage with her in a way that promotes her wellbeing and quality of life.What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for an experienced Support Worker who:Has experience supporting individuals with complex health needsHas knowledge and experience of PEG care and epilepsy managementIs competent with moving and handling proceduresCan provide high-quality personal care with dignity and respectIs compassionate, patient and reliableHas a positive, jovial and nurturing approachCan build trusting relationships and communicate effectively with non-verbal individualsHolds a full UK driving licence and is confident driving a mobility vehicleShift PatternsDay Support WorkerWeekdays: 16:00 - 22:00Weekends & Bank Holidays: 08:00 - 22:00Waking Night Support WorkerWeekdays: 22:00 - 09:00Weekends: 22:00 - 08:00What You'll Be DoingSupporting P with her daily routines and activitiesAssisting with PEG-related support in line with training and care plansSupporting with medication administrationProviding personal care and continence supportSupporting safe mobility and transfersAccompanying P on community outings and appointmentsPromoting choice, independence and person-centred outcomesMaintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns appropriatelyThis role would suit an individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and who understands the importance of consistency, trust, and relationship-building when supporting individuals with complex needs. ️ A Day in the Life of a Support WorkerEvery day is different — and every day makes a difference.
