Intensive Support Worker | 37 hours p/w | £28,135 | 12-month contract
The Role
As an Intensive Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting people experiencing entrenched rough sleeping and multiple disadvantage to achieve greater stability and independence. Working alongside the Intensive Support Lead, you will deliver flexible, trauma-informed, and person-centred support, building trusted relationships that help individuals sustain accommodation, overcome barriers, and progress towards their goals at a pace that is right for them. Through collaborative support planning and responsive day-to-day interventions, you will make a meaningful difference while contributing to a high-quality, psychologically informed service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver intensive day-to-day support in line with agreed support plans, maintaining regular and flexible contact, including during periods of crisis, change, or disengagement.
- Develop, review, and update person-centred support plans that reflect each individual's needs, goals, and changing circumstances.
- Build positive, respectful, and non-judgemental relationships that encourage trust, engagement, and long-term stability.
