Interim Assistant Accountant (Potential of Perm)

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a successful and growing organisation to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis for an initial 3-month period, with the potential of being made permanent.

This is an immediate start opportunity offering excellent exposure across a busy finance function.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Bringing accounts up to trial balanceBank reconciliationsCashflow managementVAT returnsSupporting month-end processesThe Person

The successful Assistant Accountant will meet the following criteria:

Previous experience in a similar accounts roleExperience taking accounts through to trial balanceStrong Excel skillsGood understanding of VAT and month-end processesA hands-on approach with the ability to get stuck inAvailable to start as soon as possible
