Location: UK / Europe or US | Remote
Contract: Approximately 5-6 months
Start: Mid-September preferred
We are partnering with a fast-growing, remote-first global technology organisation to recruit an Interim Compensation Analyst for an initial assignment of approximately five to six months.
The role will provide additional analytical and operational support to an established compensation team during a period of planned leave and wider activity across the function.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced compensation analyst who enjoys working with data, modelling different compensation scenarios and taking ownership within a fast-paced international environment.
The role will primarily focus on compensation, with some additional benefits-related responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
Support compensation modelling and scenario analysis across multiple international markets.
Assist with the administration and delivery of compensation-cycle activity.
Analyse large and complex employee and compensation datasets.
Build and maintain compensation models using Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Support salary benchmarking, compensation analysis and ad hoc reward projects.
Prepare analysis and insights for senior members of the compensation team.
Support data validation, reconciliations and reporting.
Assist with benefits reconciliations and selected benefits administration.
Liaise with external benefits partners where required.
Provide operational support across day-to-day compensation activity.
Work independently and proactively to resolve data and compensation queries.
About you
We are looking for an experienced analyst who can quickly become productive within an established compensation environment.
You will ideally have:
Approximately 4-6 years' experience within compensation, reward or a closely related analytical role.
Strong hands-on compensation analysis and modelling experience.
Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets capability.
Excellent knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, lookups and large-scale data manipulation.
Experience building models and undertaking scenario analysis.
Strong attention to detail and confidence working with complex datasets.
Experience supporting annual or periodic compensation cycles.
The ability to operate independently in a remote working environment.
A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of day-to-day work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues across different countries and time zones.
International compensation experience would be highly advantageous, particularly exposure to the UK, Europe and/or US. Experience within technology, fintech, digital assets or another fast-growth organisation would also be beneficial.
Some exposure to employee benefits would be useful, although this is very much a compensation-led role rather than a benefits specialist position.
The opportunity
The organisation employs colleagues across more than 40 countries and operates a remote-first working model, making this a genuinely international compensation assignment.
The successful candidate can be based in the UK/Europe or US and should ideally be available to start around mid-September, allowing sufficient time for a structured handover.
The initial assignment is expected to run for approximately five to six months. xwzovoh
All applications and conversations will be treated in strict confidence.
