Interim Finance Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their Leeds based finance team.  This is a hands on role covering the day to day finance function, with some involvement in systems, reporting and process improvement.  Key responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reports
• Produce budgets, forecasts and cash flow information
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls
• Support statutory reporting and the external audit process
• Maintain and develop financial reporting within Sage 200
• Review existing finance processes and make practical improvements where required
• Produce and develop reporting using Excel
• Support finance systems and data-related work
• Provide financial information to management and operational teams
• Assist with other areas of the finance function as required

Candidate profile:

• Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar accounting role
• Qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience
• Good management accounts, budgeting and cash flow experience
• Strong Excel and general systems skills
• Comfortable working with financial data and reporting
• A practical, hands-on approach
• Available to undertake a temporary assignment
