Client Details

Our client is a large, purpose led charity operating across a diverse and complex organisation. Its legal team supports a wide variety of operational, commercial, property, governance and regulatory matters, giving the successful lawyer excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and genuinely varied work.

This is an opportunity to use your commercial legal expertise within an organisation where the work has a clear wider purpose and where pragmatic, commercially minded advice is highly valued.

Description

The Interim Legal Counsel will be:

Profile

The Interim Legal Counsel should be:

  • A solicitor or equivalent with substantial post qualification experience
  • An experienced commercial contracts lawyer who can independently draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements
  • Able to quickly assess contractual risk, prioritise a busy workload and provide clear, pragmatic advice to non legal stakeholders
  • Ideally experienced within an in house legal team, charity, healthcare, public sector or similarly regulated organisation
  • Additional experience across commercial property, charity law, governance, regulatory matters or healthcare would be highly advantageous
  • Immediately available or able to start at very short notice
