Our client is a well-established family business based in Caerphilly. Due to continued growth and investment, they are seeking an experienced Interim Supply Chain Manager to lead and transform the end-to-end supply chain function. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing a resilient, scalable and commercially focused supply chain strategy that spans demand planning, procurement and inventory control.
This role is based on site for the duration of 10 months with the potential to move to permanent employment thereafter.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's end-to-end supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives and future growth plans.
- Lead Procurement, Demand Planning, Inventory and Warehouse operations, ensuring products are available to meet customer demand whilst optimising working capital.
- Build strategic partnerships with key suppliers, negotiating commercial agreements, improving performance and reducing supply risk.
- Develop robust Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory optimisation and service levels.
