Role Overview The Junior CAD Technician will support the design and production of sheet‑metal lockers and associated components. The role involves producing accurate technical drawings, developing 3D models, and preparing manufacturing‑ready documentation that feeds directly into fabrication processes such as CNC machining, folding, welding, and assembly. You’ll gain exposure to the full product lifecycle, working on both new product development and updates to existing designs, while building your CAD capability within a supportive engineering team. Key Responsibilities 2D & 3D CAD Modelling — Produce detailed drawings and models for locker bodies, doors, shelves, brackets, and internal components using AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar software. Fabrication‑Ready Drawings — Create sheet‑metal drawings including bend lines, tolerances, hole patterns and material specifications. Design Revisions — Update existing designs based on engineering changes, customer requirements or production feedback.
