Junior HR/Payroll Administrator

We are recruiting for a Junior HR/Payroll Administrator to join a large, fast paced business near Ongar. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is keen to gain valuable experience within a supportive HR team. Working in a varied and changing environment, you will play an important role in supporting the HR/Payroll function for their large UK workforce. Alongside HR administration, you will also assist with payroll related administration and general office support. Key Details: Monday – Friday 09:00-17:00 (35 hour week) Starting salary £24,000 21 days holiday + BH Healthcare services Free parking Development opportunitiesKey Responsibilities: Supporting the employee journey from new starters through to leavers Maintaining employee records and updating HR systems accurately Preparing letters, reports and other HR documentation Assisting with payroll administration and data processing Handling employee queries and providing administrative support to managers Supporting document control, compliance checks and departmental administrationSkills and Experience Required Ideally some administration experience in an office environment Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills Good numerical ability and confidence working with data Strong communication skills with a professional and confidential approach Competent in Microsoft Office and electronic filing systems Access to own transport due to company location A levels or equivalent desirableThis is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and motivated individual looking to gain hands on experience within HR while developing a broad range of administration skills in a thriving business environment.
