Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are working with a small, highly creative engineering and product designconsultancy that works across a wide range of industries and applications.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their small and highly experienced team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who doesn't want to spend their career designing the same product day after day. Projects can range from sports equipment and medical technology through to specialist filtration systems and completely bespoke engineering challenges.

Because the company designs, builds and tests what it creates, the role offers genuine exposure to the complete engineering lifecycle.

Our client is particularly interested in someone with around 24 years' practical engineering/design experience.

You could be someone who has:

• Started their career through a mechanical engineering apprenticeship
• Gained hands-on engineering experience before progressing into design
• Completed a mechanical engineering degree after gaining practical experience
• Worked in a mechanical design environment and now wants greater responsibility

More important than having the perfect academic background is having curiosity, creativity and a genuine interest in engineering.
