Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to specified recipes and standards
Support the chef in preparing ingredients and organising supplies for service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing utensils, equipment, and work surfaces
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Help serve meals to customers or guests in a courteous and efficient manner
Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying management of shortages
Support the kitchen during busy service periods, ensuring smooth operations throughout
Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination
Qualifications
Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good organisational skills and a proactive attitude towards cleanliness and hygiene standards
