Kitchen Assistant

Torquay 3rd September 2026 - 23rd October 2026 Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 2:00pm

Berry Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Temporary Kitchen Assistant to support a busy catering team in Torquay on a temporary basis.

• Assisting with food preparation
• Serving meals during service times
• Washing up and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
• Assisting with stock rotation and general kitchen duties
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures

• Previous kitchen, catering, or food service experience is advantageous
• Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A valid DBS certificate is required for this role

• Weekly pay
• Holiday pay accrued
