KS1 Teacher SEN

Academics are currently recruiting confident and adaptable KS1 Teachers to support a number of our partner schools across Skipton. We work with a variety of schools including mainstream settings and specialist SEN provisions, offering flexible opportunities for experienced and passionate educators. Qualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below. This is a fantastic opportunity for Key Stage 1 Teachers who enjoy working in different environments and supporting children in the early stages of their education. Roles may include working within Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or teaching within dedicated SEN provisions. Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development Working collaboratively with support staff, parents and the wider school team What We're Looking For: A confident and proactive Key Stage 1 Teacher Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 A flexible and reliable approach to working across different schools A genuine passion for inspiring young learners A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a DBS application Why work with Academics? xkybehq Flexible work to suit your availability Opportunities across a range of Bradford schools Support from a dedicated education recruitment team Potential for long-term and permanent role Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
