KS1 Teaching Assistant

Are you a supportive and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant who enjoys helping children reach their full potential? A friendly primary school in Harlow is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child in a KS1 classroom with additional needs. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference during an important stage of a child’s learning and development. About the Role In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support a KS1 pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping them engage with classroom activities, follow routines, and build confidence in their learning. You will play an important role in encouraging positive participation and supporting the child both academically and socially. This position would suit someone patient, nurturing, and adaptable who enjoys working with younger children.
