Labourer / FLT Operative - Modular Construction Location: Hull, HU9 Salary: £14.00 per hour Hours: Full Time | Monday to Friday | Early Finish Every Friday Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity Join a Leading Hull-Based Modular Building Manufacturer Prestige Recruitment Specialists are delighted to be working with a well-established, family-run modular building manufacturer based in Hull. With over 20 years of experience, our client designs, manufactures and installs high-quality modular and portable buildings for clients across the UK, working across sectors including education, healthcare, commercial and public services. We are currently looking for a Labourer with a valid Counterbalance FLT Licence to join their busy manufacturing facility in Hull. This is primarily a hands-on labouring and production role, with the successful candidate also providing FLT support across the factory when required. The Role Working as part of the manufacturing team, you will support the production of modular buildings while helping to ensure materials and products are moved safely and efficiently around the factory. The majority of your time will be spent carrying out general labouring, production and manual handling duties, with FLT work forming an important supporting part of the role. Key Responsibilities Carrying out general labouring duties within a busy modular manufacturing environment Supporting skilled trades and production operatives across the factory Loading, unloading and moving materials safely Preparing materials and work areas for production Moving materials and components around the factory using a Counterbalance FLT when required Loading and unloading vehicles Assisting with the movement and positioning of modular building components Keeping production areas clean, tidy and organised Supporting the wider manufacturing team to maintain production output Following all site health and safety procedures Carrying out manual handling and other physically demanding tasks Supporting different areas of the factory as required What We're Looking For Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT Licence - essential Previous labouring, manufacturing, construction or factory experience Comfortable carrying out physical and manual work Reliable, punctual and hardworking Good attitude and willingness to get stuck in Able to work effectively as part of a team Safety-conscious approach to working Flexible and willing to support different areas of the factory Experience within modular construction or manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential What's on Offer? £14.00 per hour Monday to Friday working pattern Early finish every Friday Overtime opportunities may be available Long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent employment Full-time hours Opportunity to work for an established Hull-based modular building manufacturer Supportive team environment Opportunity to develop further skills within modular construction and manufacturing The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Labourer with an in-date Counterbalance FLT Licence to join an established manufacturing business in Hull.
