Laser Setter / Operator Our client in Nuneaton is seeking a permanent Laser Setter / Operator to join their team. The role focuses on operating and setting a fibre laser cutting machine to achieve excellent cut quality and throughput. Shift and pay Laser Setter / Operator Hours: Monday Thursday, 07:1517:45 (40 hours paid) Starting salary: £15£16 per hour, depending on experience (approx. £33,280 per year) Permanent, full-time role (4-day a week) Opportunity for the right candidate to progress into a supervisory position in the future Key responsibilities Laser Setter / Operator Set up, operate and monitor a Bodor fibre laser cutting machine Configure laser parameters for various materials and thicknesses to optimise quality and speed Operate and set up a press brake machine as required Check part dimensions and quality; make adjustments as needed to meet specifications Experience and requirements Laser Setter / Operator Prior experience with laser cutting machines Basic understanding of programming and software used for laser cutting Proficient in operating and setting a press brake in addition to the laser Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances Team player with reliable punctuality and good communication Physically fit and able to handle equipment and materials If this opportunity interests you, please apply online or call 01164976064 for more details.
