Laser operator * Shift work – 6am – 2pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 6am-11am and 2pm – 11:15pm * Opportunity for someone who holds an FLT license/work in an engineering environment to develop into a Laser Operator * Established Respected Company * Competitive Rates of Pay * Opportunity for training * 37-hour weeks * Excellent working environment * Overtime Available Our client based in Nelson is looking for an experienced Laser Operator on a permanent basis, the client is a well-respected manufacturer and are looking for candidates with experience on The Job * Operating Trumpf CNC Laser machines, both CO2 & Fibre * Accepting deliveries of raw materials * Dispatching finished products * Carrying out regular services and maintenance on machines * Delivering finished products across the north of England when required * Keeping the work area clean and tidy * Meeting deadlines * keeping regular check of stock * Loading/Unloading HGV's About you * Ability to understand, interpret and work to Engineering drawings and to work to tight tolerances * Team player with the ability to work alone and use own initiative with minimum supervision. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Flexibility to support the business needs. * An in-depth knowledge of laser machining. * A commitment to implement and develop business improvement initiatives across the cell.
