Position:               LCV Technician Location:              Cheltenham Salary:                   upto £40,000 basic + bonus (circa £100 per month) Hours:                   Monday–Friday 8.00am-5.30pm (45 hrs) Shift                       M-F Days LCV Technician Opportunity Looking for a vehicle technician role that offers excellent pay, real career progression, and a genuine work–life balance? Long-term career progression with new qualifications Full uniform provided Free gym membership Cycle to work scheme Free annual flu jab and Health & wellbeing programme On-site parking Bonus scheme (paid monthly)The Role as an LCV Technician As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles. You’ll work in a well-equipped workshop, using modern diagnostic equipment and tools, while maintaining excellent safety and quality standards. You will be working on an internal fleet of small vans to 3.5t Lutons with tail lifts, retail and commercial work to include all makes / models of cars and vans Key Responsibilities of the LCV Technician Carry out vehicle inspections to identify faults and repair requirements Perform routine servicing and maintenance, including brakes, tyres, and oil changes Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment MOT preparation and testing of class 4, 5 and 7 vehicles MOT repairs and rectification work Technical diagnostics and use of diagnostic equipment Cambelts & Clutch jobs Repair or replace vehicle components using hand and power tools Complete accurate job records and documentation What we’re looking for in the LCV Technician Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (Level 4 welcomed) Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair experience Experience with cars and vans MOT Tester qualification (preferred but not essential) Full UK driving licence Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-focused mindset Ability to work to deadlines without compromising qualityIf you’re a skilled LCV Technician looking for stability, progression, and a workplace that genuinely invests in its people, this role offers an excellent next step in your career
