As an early member of the team, the Lead Game Designer will have a major role in defining how those worlds work. Were looking for an outstanding Lead Game Designer with deep experience creating open-world games and a strong instinct for systems-driven, emergent play. You should think in loops, mechanics, rules and player behaviour rather than simply linear narrative, and understand what makes players want to return to a world again and again. Youll work closely with engineering and creative teams to shape the environments, stories and underlying systems that make Peace experiences genuinely playable.
This role is based in London, working closely with a small multidisciplinary team across product, engineering and creative. The team will periodically come together in San Francisco for intensive periods of in-person collaboration, so some international travel will form part of the role. xkybehq
Compensation is expected to be around the $300k range, with the priority being exceptional creative judgement and world-class open-world design experience.
