Lead Housekeeper / House Manager

Silver and Bow have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead Housekeeper / House Manager to join a lovely family in Essex. This is a hands-on role for a career housekeeper, Head Housekeeper or House Manager with a solid housekeeping background and management experience, to maintain a beautiful, large property and oversee a second housekeeper whilst remaining actively involved in the daily cleaning and running of the home.

The family are kind, friendly and approachable, and value their privacy. Someone warm, professional and discreet will fit in well, and you must also be child and pet friendly and be comfortable around large, friendly dogs.

This is a lovely, long-term opportunity for an experienced housekeeper or House Manager looking for stability and room for growth.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Hands-on daily housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home

• Organising household routines and rotas

• Overseeing and supporting the second housekeeper

• Ordering food shopping and sourcing household items

• Managing household supplies and inventories

• Coordinating contractors and maintenance

• Answering the door and taking in deliveries

• Laundry and wardrobe care

• Preparing the house for guests

• Running errands

• Pet care
