Lead Java Developer (Kafka, Microservices, Spring boot) - Bank - London/Hybrid Daily rate: €600 - €800 (inside IR35) Start: ASAP Hybrid: 8 days per month My banking client is looking for contractors with strong Core Java expertise, as this role primarily involve server-side development . You will be required to be onsite 8 days per month in London office. Working as part of an Agile development team to deliver the migration of the legacy application to new event-based and service-oriented architecture solution, working in collaboration with the Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Application architects and other stakeholders. Lead delivery of a coherent end-to-end IT solution that meets both functional and non-functional requirements. Ensuring that the IT solution complies with the Enterprise engineering and architecture standards. Undertaking hands-on development and coaching staff in the new technologies used; The successful candidate will have demonstrable solutions design and development skills and experience alongside validated strong systems development experience at all stages of the software delivery lifecycle. Strong systems development experience at all stages of systems development covering design, development, testing, live implementation and post implementation support. Strong core Java programming skills Experience of developing services/micro-services in Java Experience of developing and deploying on Unix or Linux Experience of profiling and performance tuning Be reliable, self-motivated and able to work without close xkybehq management and supervision Possess inspiring communication and presentation skills to present proposals both orally and in writing Working in an Agile development team Designing and implementing platform independent, database independent event driven applications Database design skills in technologies such as Oracle DevOps principles, processes and tooling IBM MQ Working in Financial Market Infrastructure and/or Regulated environments *Rates depend on experience and client requirements
